After School and Summer Programs in Saco, Maine
Our after school program is the most prominent part of the child care and education services that we offer. It is an innovative, state-licensed program with a curriculum that is designed to build confidence, character, and leadership, while enhancing social skills and academic performance.
Program Details
We
are pleased to offer a high quality structured after school program. We are
Maine State Quality Rated, licensed, and inspected by DHHS for your peace of
mind. We offer many elective activities that will keep your child active and
happy. Children can choose from various sports, dance, child safe martial arts
(with an acclaimed bullying program), arts and crafts, and games. There is
adequate daily “free time” for children to enjoy. We offer homework assistance
help with trained staff. Our staff is highly capable. Some are active school
teachers others are trained in early education or psychology/sociology. All
have had background checks and are approved and monitored by DHHS.
More Information
Our
facility opens at 6:30 am daily for before care and Pre-K and runs until 6:00
pm. We provide full day coverage for school cancellations, school vacations and
early release days. Unlike many programs, we are open during the vast majority
of snow storm closures. There is no upcharge for early release, school
vacations, or snow days.

Transportation & Payment Details
For your convenience, we provide transportation to and from public schools in Biddeford.
We are on the Saco school bus pick-up and delivery route. A weekly fee of $90 is required to enroll your child in our program (before school care included). We encourage you to contact us for more details!!

Summer Program
We have also added an all-day summer recreation program, with daily field trips and a variety of elective activities. This program runs from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and features many of the activities from our after school program:

More Information
During our summer program, we conduct 2-3 hour field trips to local beaches and parks, as well as weekly trips to Funtown or Splashtown. Swimming lessons, given by Red Cross certified instructors at Swim Time, are offered to children ages 4-6. We feature a daily reading & writing component as well, in order to keep your child's mind sharp. This summer program was developed with parent input, and is run by our experienced staff.
Payment Details
Our summer program requires a fee of $130 per week, which includes all field trips, snacks, and daily incidentals, in order to minimize packing and eliminate extra activity-based costs.
